On the Rio Pretinho, within the property known as Solarion, Anjos and Arcanjos offer pools of reddish or tea-colored water, rock walls and rocky areas. The water's hues are part of the landscape and vary with the light, the riverbed and river conditions.

A fork shapes the route. One option is to head to Arcanjos first and visit Anjos on the way back. There are rocky stretches and deep pools, so being close to the community does not mean the walk is free of difficulty. Booking Dona Conceição's lunch before the walk helps organize the day and the local kitchen.
