Guide text · reviewed · PT · ES · EN

At approximately eleven kilometers, this route usually has less steep elevation change than the Saltos circuit, although it is still a long hike. There are shaded stretches, grasslands, rocks and smaller streams. After about five kilometers, the marked fork splits the routes: approximately one kilometer to Cariocas and eight hundred meters to Cânion II, depending on the reference point used.

At Cariocas, the falls spread across the rocks and form authorized swimming areas. The canyon is a more enclosed space, and visiting it depends on river conditions. The color of the trail markings helps you stay on the circuit, but visitors need to watch for signs, closed areas and the guides' instructions.

Visitor recordings on Wikiloc help you get to know the route and its stops. Measurements are approximate and belong to the recorded track; elevation gain adds up the climbs or descents. Difficulty is the author’s own rating and may differ from the guide’s classification. Check current conditions with the attraction’s operator.
