Precautions on site

The bottom alternates between rocks and sand; a calm stretch does not mean the whole pool has the same depth. The second fall has stronger, deeper water.

At Capivara, the combination of watercourses and the canyon creates different spots for viewing and swimming. The Rio Capivara, also called Maquiné, meets the Rio Tiririca. There is a second fall with stronger, deeper water, plus shallow sections and hydromassage spots among the rocks.

The bottom alternates between rocks and sand; a calm stretch does not mean the whole pool has the same depth. The canyon view and its connection with the Candaru drainage are part of the landscape.

Visitor recordings on Wikiloc help you get to know the route and its stops. Measurements are approximate and belong to the recorded track; elevation gain adds up the climbs or descents. Difficulty is the author’s own rating and may differ from the guide’s classification. Check current conditions with the attraction’s operator.
