Terra Ronca State Park is approximately 275 km from Alto Paraíso. It is a trip extension focused on caves, with a separate logistics base and time of its own to explore.
Water plays a part in forming galleries, passages and rock structures over thousands of years. Walking through these environments reveals a landscape different from the Chapada’s waterfalls and high-altitude grasslands.
Groups must be accompanied by a park-accredited guide. A purpose-made helmet and closed-toe, non-slip footwear are mandatory; also arrange lighting and clothing suited to the wet sections. Stick to the authorized routes, do not touch the formations and carry all your waste back out.
