Bonito is an option near São João d’Aliança, described as about nine kilometers from town. The older reference combines two kilometers on GO-118 heading north and seven on dirt; later listings use approximately four on paved road and six on dirt, showing how much the starting point and the entrance considered matter.
The trail of about eight hundred meters runs through taller vegetation and has little elevation change. The main fall, the smaller pools and the restaurant facilities allow for a half-day visit, at a less demanding pace than the region’s canyons.
